About
Experience

I started working in the field of psychology in 2010 in India, after completing my Masters. What I witnessed navigating various settings and population groups (street based drug addicts, children living with special needs, School and Boarding school environments) brought me to understand early on that non-verbal and embodied practices, like Expressive Arts, and other psychosomatic modalities were important in therapeutic work. Therefore I sought training in the same and started my own private practice in 2017, where I saw Adults and adolescents individually.
Soon after I found my way to Jung and have been training formally in Analytical Psychology since 2020. Jungian studies in mythology, religion, culture etc. offer an expansive and deep plethora of symbolic material that helps in making tangible all that remains in the unconscious realm.
Weaving these gentle practices in exploring the unconscious forms the backdrop of what I attempt to bring to the analytic container.
The Analytic Container
Jungian work is built on the foundation of rigorous self examination, which informs my presence as an analyst. The Analytic container is a holding and reflective space based on the therapeutic relationship between the Analyst and the Analysand, that allows for transformation to occur.
As we work together, we will begin by attending to what is most alive for you in the here and now and hold it tenderly. It could be a dream or dream image, a bodily sensation or something else n your life that may be demanding your attention.
Working with the unconscious can be challenging and isolating and I hope to journey with you to where your psyche leads you. In the process I will aid you in developing a language of communication of your own, as you re-connect with parts of your Self.
